About Us
Alpen Bakery opened in February 2023 in Pembroke Pines, Florida, US. Continuing with the tradition of Pasteleria El Parron, Chilean Pastry, Founded in 1940 by Alejandro Hermann, Austrian, and his wife Hedwig Kreitling, German. Which today has four generations working to maintain the tradition that has existed for more than 80 years.
In the midst of the 2020 pandemic, the idea of Alpen Bakery was born, and like a good migrant and entrepreneurial family, a Family leaves South Florida with a Pastry Chef with a lifetime of experience.
Alpen Bakery arrives in South Florida with the dream and desire to be able to give people unique moments of togetherness through the fusion of Austrian Pastry and Latin flavors and also continue with a family tradition that has been maintained over time.
My friend stopped by today to get a few things for the team. And I got to try this delicious chocolate cake. She said the place was very cute and the staff was super friendly and professional. I look forward to go in person and try other things.

Amazing customer service!!! I have to start with that because we know that is sometimes a problem in south Florida. The owner, Ruben, was patient, knowledgeable, and kind. We were able to sample some products. VERY TASTY. Another good thing I like to see is when bakeries run out of desserts. It may be a bummer because you miss out on trying something but it is a GOOD sign that indicates FRESHNESS. The interior is beautiful. Quality not only in the food items but the business as a whole. Definitely a place I want to come back to and sit to drink some coffee and enjoy delicious desserts. Please do yourself a favor and give this spot a try. I cannot wait to get home and tear these desserts up!!
